5. Reach measurement with Rybbit
We use the open-source analytics software Rybbit to statistically evaluate the use of our website and to improve it technically and in terms of content.
- Data processed: Page viewed and page title, referrer, time of access, language, screen size, and information derived from the browser and device, such as browser type, operating system, and device type. Depending on the URL accessed, campaign parameters and, where measurement features are enabled, technical performance data, errors, or interactions may also be collected.
- IP address and identifiers: The IP address is technically processed during transmission, used for approximate geographic allocation and, together with browser information, to form a pseudonymous identifier. This identifier distinguishes visits and is not a name or account identifier.
- Cookies: Rybbit does not use analytics cookies and does not track users across websites.
- Purposes: Reach measurement, identification of usage patterns and technical problems, and improvement of stability, usability, and content.
- Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the data-minimising analysis and improvement of our website. In view of the pseudonymous, cookie-free processing and the absence of cross-site tracking, we have concluded that the interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms of data subjects do not override our legitimate interests.
- Recipients and hosting: We self-host Rybbit on the same server infrastructure as this website. Analytics data is not transferred to Rybbit as an external service provider. Access may only be provided to the hosting provider used by us to operate the server, as part of the technical provision and in accordance with our instructions.
- Retention: Analytics data is stored only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated and is then deleted or aggregated. We regularly review whether retention remains necessary.
We do not intentionally transmit names, email addresses, or information entered in contact or enquiry forms to Rybbit, and we do not use analytics data for advertising or combine it with data from other websites.
You may object to this processing on grounds relating to your particular situation pursuant to Article 21 GDPR. To do so, contact us at info@elude-media.de.
